The Porsche Cayman is a mid-engined coupe derived from the second-generation Boxster in 2005. The name Cayman is an alternative spelling of caiman, a member of the crocodile family. From 2016, the models were marketed as 718 Boxster and 718 Cayman.
This is one of the newest cars I have portrayed, dating from October 2020 and is in Gentian Blue. The supplied photos were low-res snapshots, and being needed at short notice for a Christmas gift, little chance of getting my own reference material. I therefore needed to source additional online reference material, and the final painting is an amalgam of several images.
