Successor to the XK140 and earlier XK120, the Jaguar XK150 was introduced in 1957, with the more powerful XK150S following on a year later. It was visually distinguished from previous models by having a one-piece windscreen, wider grille and higher wing-line near the doors.
It was bigger and more modern than previous XKs and offered a roomier cabin area. It was available in three body styles - the Fixed Head Coupé (FHC), the Drop Head Coupé (DHC) and the open two-seat Roadster (OTS). Production ceased in 1960, with over 9,000 built.
On a personal note, the curves and chrome make the XK150 one of my favourite cars to portray.
