New Jaguar XJ6s and XJ8s, code-named X-350, were announced in 2003 featuring an all-aluminium body structure and new levels of refinement. They were larger in overall dimensions to previous versions, with a higher roofline.
Pictured is an XJR dating from 2004, with a supercharged 4.2 litre V8 engine developing 400 bhp with a 6-speed automatic gearbox, giving a 155-mph top speed, and achieving 0-60 mph in 5 seconds. The XJR was visually distinguished by body-coloured grille with mesh inserts and black window surrounds.
The car has metallic black paint with ivory leather interior with contrasting black inserts and 19” ‘Performance’ alloy wheels.
