The third and final generation of the E-Type was the Series III, produced from 1971 to 1975, which introduced the 5.3 litre V12 engine. All had the longer wheelbase bodyshell with a roomier interior.
Series IIIs are visually identified by the bigger grille, wider wheels and flared wheel-arches, which in my view give them a lot of road presence.
